“I feel it (Mr. Awkward) is a really well made film , technically ( you left the phone off call setting on purpose , didnt you ?) and the actor , Michael Swinskay is excellent . A character that would be bottomless for a comedy writer with all the irony , the ” black cloud ” type guy and his face is perfect for this kind of comedy . He”s got Woody Allen , Larry David and Alan Arkin type of ability . Thats why I was interested in Mr. Awkward being a series , or a re-occurring role. I could write great comedy for Mr Awkward. Alright young man ! All the best . You know this Long Island guy you think you are speaking to was born and raised in south jamaica and my career was in all those glorified tough guy neighborhoods that so many young people love to affiliate themselves with in Brooklyn ( Do or die , not Bensonhurst), the Bronx , certain parts of Manhattan and south queens.
