  • Meet Mayur Shewale

I gave him some free advice. It’s unfortunate, but I had to fire him.

Here is some free advice that you may never take.

We see that you’re calling yourself a full-stack developer (React, Node, Next, etc). You may have Googled/ChatGPT what sounds good for Upwork, and that stack came up.

We have over 400 websites, and we have worked with over 100 developers. We can very easily tell a real web developer (one who understands a website’s infrastructure, architecture, and can actually write code). It is very, very clear that you are NOT a real web developer. We see you struggling with even the most basic tasks (i.e., aligning texts, changing hover effects, and more).

Maybe instead of PRETENDING to be a web developer, you should tell people you are more of a web designer. Your reliance on plugins and Elementor Pro was a dead giveaway that you’re more of a drag-and-drop kind of guy.

The reason for this advice is that you will continue to get fired from jobs when people find out that you’re a fraud…which will ONLY waste their time, and in return, they will blacklist you, just like what we’re going to do.

If we can easily find out that you’re a fraud, then so can others.

Remove all of that RESTful API stuff from your profile because if we got on a video call now, you couldn’t explain even the beginning of that. Be authentic. You’re a drag-and-drop guy. Tell people that instead of the lies you’re telling now.

Again, this is just some free advice!
