In a non-distant future, a corporation named Sims Corp creates a system to transfer and store all memories and consciousnesses of the population in a perfect virtual world. This system is named Cloud, where everybody lives happily after death. This system replaces the idea of heaven with a computer program created by humans. Thus, this corporation gets to privatize the concept of life after death and also eliminates people’s fear of the question “where will we go when we die?” Beyond that, there is no longer the necessity to follow any kind of religion because if everybody knows where they go after death, religious beliefs become useless.
