From Idea To MVP

I like to start companies and get to MVP quickly. How quick? Well, from idea to MVP in less than a month for a physical product business and less than a week for a digital business. Why so quick? The faster you get a product to market the faster you can get feedback and more importantly; the faster you can find product-market fit.

I aim to use the least amount of resources to get the most market and product testing. Let me repeat that for you procrastinators: I aim to use the least amount of resources to get the most market and product (MAP) testing.

Here's an example: I came up with the idea for a soap company, AylaZoe Soap Company, On November 20, 2023, because I did not like my current options. I purchased the domain name (aylazoe.com), found a soap manufacturer, and designed the logo and packaging on the same day. Also on the same day, I reached out to my overseas partners who I had done business with in the past, and in less than three weeks the first shipments of packaging arrived. The e-commerce store was launched two weeks prior. So well before Christmas 2023, we had soaps ready to ship.

I never ever seek perfection when launching a business/idea. I launch, seek feedback, incorporate said feedback, and keep going.  I'm a firm believer in the agile methodology. Also, there is a very wise saying: "Perfect is the enemy of good."

To all the entrepreneurs reading this; just fucking do it! Stop seeking the right moment to get started. Stop procrastinating. Stop listening to losers who will NEVER accomplish shit! Stop saving up for the right moment! Just go do it! Take the feedback and keep improving!
